Akın Batmaz prepares case-specific legal opinions for Turkish lawyers handling cross-border inheritance matters in Turkey. His work includes reviewing applicable law, identifying heirs and inheritance shares, examining foreign inheritance documents, wills, affidavits and sworn statements, and addressing issues arising in applications for certificates of inheritance and related disputes. The resulting opinion is prepared for submission to the relevant court as an expert opinion under Article 293 of the Turkish Code of Civil Procedure.
